The item description should indicate if it has the sound option or not. I hadn't heard of it not having sound. Your cat should have a routine, or path it follows. If it's climbing up the sofa, does it favor one side over the other? Place it on the floor there. If it goes to the other side, place it there. You're basically trying to create a boundary around the sofa or loveseat. Cut off the cat's access points to do this. You're marking YOUR territory :) Hope that helps. Mike Hi Janet,

I am interested in the one with sound. Can you tell me if that is the white or blue container? Also, how did you use it around the sofa or loveseat?
